Windsor lives with the castle and the Great Park on its doorstep and a very large number of visitors passing through, which makes it an unusual place to actually live in. Eton is over the bridge, Maidenhead is up the road with the Thames and the Elizabeth line, and Ascot, Sunninghill, Datchet and Old Windsor fill in around them.
