Oktoberfest at the racecourse on 9 October, pumpkins and Brick or Treat for half term, fireworks on 31 Oct and 7 Nov, then the ice rink opens 13 November.

Windsor Festival’s autumn season ends on Sunday 11 October, the same weekend Oktoberfest fills a marquee at Royal Windsor Racecourse. Half term follows, with Legoland’s Brick or Treat, pumpkins at Windsor Royal and in Cookham, and siege activities at the castle. Then come three fireworks displays in eight days, starting at Ascot on Saturday 31 October, and on 13 November the ice rink and Windsor Great Park Illuminated both open.

Everything below is from the organisers’ own listings, read on 28 September and rechecked on 6 October 2026, and every entry links back to its source. Prices are the cheapest ticket the organiser publishes, before any booking fee. For places that are open whatever the month, see our guide to things to do in Windsor; for the school holiday, October half term in Windsor; and for trick or treat season, Halloween in Windsor.
