We checked 15 Windsor area shops, from Daniel of Windsor to Deliciously French, for opening hours and what they sell. Updated November 2026.
Windsor and its nearby towns have 15 shops worth a Christmas shopping trip in 2026, and this guide lists them with opening hours, addresses and what each one sells. Daniel of Windsor, Craft Coop, Windsor Farm Shop and Tastes of Eton are the names many people will land on. We checked each entry on 5 November 2026 against the shop’s own site or another named listing.
We have not shopped at any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry says what the shop says it sells. Shops often change their hours close to Christmas, so check before a special trip.

How we chose
We started from shops people can walk into across Windsor, Eton, Maidenhead, Cookham and Ascot, using Visit Windsor’s independent shops page and listings, a Suitcase magazine guide to the town and the shops’ own sites, and we favoured independents with something to give at Christmas. Hours and stock come from those sources on 5 November 2026, and we say so where a source other than the shop’s own site is used.
Several shops are left out because we could not confirm them on a page of their own, which does not mean they have closed. They include Gregory & Tapping, Eton Antique Bookshop, House Windsor and Roost in Windsor and Eton, Bird in Sunningdale, and Mimosa in Sunninghill. Craft Coop’s Maidenhead shop was in the Nicholsons Centre, and the Henley Standard reported in March that it was looking for a new home before the centre’s scheduled closure in June. We could not confirm a new address, so check with Craft Coop. The bigger chains in Windsor Royal and on Peascod Street sit outside the list.
