We checked 7 real Christmas tree sellers near Windsor, from Windsor Great Park to Davies Brothers in Burnham, for prices and dates. Updated November 2026.
There are seven places to buy a real Christmas tree near Windsor in 2026, and this guide puts them in one place with prices, opening dates and what each one sells. Most people land on the Christmas Tree Shop in Windsor Great Park, which grows many of its trees on the estate and publishes a full price list; Darling Buds of Windsor, the Peascod Street florist that delivers Nordmann firs across the borough; and Davies Brothers Nursery at Burnham. Every entry was checked against the seller’s own website on 5 November 2026.
We have not bought a tree from any of these for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry says what the seller says it does, with its own prices where it publishes them. Stock and dates change as the season goes on, so check the website or ring before a special trip.

1. Windsor Great Park Christmas Tree Shop
The Crown Estate’s forestry team runs a seasonal tree shop inside the Great Park for just under four weeks. It says its trees are “grown sustainably in Britain, with many coming from the Windsor Estate”, in Norway spruce, Nordmann fir and blue spruce, cut from 3 to 4ft up to 16 to 17ft, plus potted Norway spruce and Nordmann fir from 2 to 2.5ft to 4 to 5ft for growing on.
It also sells wreaths made on the estate, holly and mistletoe, stands, lights, firewood at £10 a bag and the park’s own sparkling wine. The way in is Ranger’s Gate on the A332; the shop says to ignore a satnav that sends you to any other gate.
Delivery covers Windsor and Old Windsor, Ascot, Sunninghill, Sunningdale, Englefield Green and Virginia Water. The members’ 10% discount does not apply to trees, holly, mistletoe or firewood.
The full price list, up to £670 for a 16 to 17ft Nordmann fir, is on the shop’s page.

2. Darling Buds of Windsor
The independent Windsor florist, which runs a stall on Peascod Street on Fridays and Saturdays and works from the Bloom Barn at Haws Hill Farm, Fifield, sells what it calls “Luxury Nordmann Firs” in 5ft to 8ft, and says they sold out in 2025. Most orders are delivered: a £10 deposit books a slot on one of its drop-off days, delivery is free, and the netted tree is left at the kerb, so you do not choose your own.
Flats need the select and choose option instead, which in 2026 covers Windsor and Dedworth only, on Friday 4 December, with a delivery charge.
The florist says larger trees can be priced on request, and it takes card or cash on delivery day. Its Christmas wreath-making workshops are on the same Christmas shop page.
Open drop-off days Mon 30 November (Windsor and Dedworth), Tue 1 December (Datchet, Eton, Eton Wick and Old Windsor), Wed 2 December (Ascot, RG42, Maidenhead and Holyport), 8am to 1pm; click and collect 30 November to 6 December, 8am to 3pm

3. Davies Brothers Nursery, Burnham
A family nursery on Chalk Pit Lane, Burnham, about five miles north of Windsor, that opens for spring, autumn and Christmas seasons. It sells what it calls a “Super Premium Grade” cut Nordmann fir, grown in the Scottish Highlands and cut “as late as possible”, and a Korean fir for those who want “a slimmer tree with great needle retention”.
You can pre-order online for delivery, or reserve a size and pick your own tree from the stands at the nursery; the nursery says you can also just turn up and buy while stocks last. Staff will make a fresh cut and fit your stand.
The season dates are from the nursery’s opening hours page; its tree pages still mention reopening “on Saturday 30th November”, which looks like last year’s wording, so ring if you plan to go on the first weekend. Santa’s grotto must be booked, at £15, with the profit going to the nursery’s chosen charity.
Cinco tree stands are £27.50 and £37.50.

On 5 November it had not posted 2026 tree dates or prices, but it is running its Christmas events again, including a local producers’ Christmas market on Sunday 22 November.
Stubbings was also one of the council’s drop-off points for used trees in January 2025. The Christmas market runs from 10am to 3pm; details are on its events page.

Cut tree prices are not published; the pot-grown trees, which can be planted out after Christmas, are priced online.
The pot-grown prices are from the Squire’s real Christmas trees page and the arrival date from its 2026 Christmas announcement.

Hillier’s Marlow garden centre is on Pump Lane South, just off the A404, about five miles north west of Maidenhead. Hillier’s real Christmas tree page was still headed 2025 on 5 November; it says the chain sells UK-grown cut Nordmann fir, slim Nordmann and Fraser fir, and pot-grown trees, and that members of its free Gardening Club get £10 off cut trees over 6ft.
Hillier does not publish Marlow tree prices online, and its online shop sells artificial trees only, so ask in the centre.

Ordered online before 22 November, the trees are 10% off. An online order is picked for you and collected from the click and collect point from 27 November, so you cannot choose your own that way; ring the centre to ask about trees on the shop floor.

Not in the guide this year
Crocus, the online plant seller, runs a garden centre at Dorney Court near Eton Wick, but its website blocked our checks and we found no published 2026 tree sale there, so it is left out until we can confirm one. Farnham Common Nurseries at Farnham Royal shows no Christmas trees on its website.
Getting rid of the tree in January
In the Royal Borough a real tree goes in your green garden waste bin, cut up, inside the bin, with the lid closed; a tree left beside the bin is not taken. Last January the council also ran drop-off points for trees around the borough. The details, and the Christmas collection days, are on our Christmas bin collections page.
How we chose
We looked for every business selling real Christmas trees within a short drive of Windsor, Maidenhead and Ascot, then kept the ones whose own websites confirm a season this year, or, for Stubbings and Hillier, that sell trees every Christmas and are open now. Prices, dates and opening hours come from those websites, checked on 5 November 2026; where a seller has not published something, the entry says so. We left out supermarkets and DIY stores, and online nurseries that only post trees. Run a place that should be here, or spot something that has changed? Email newsdesk@windsortoday.co.uk. Taken a good photograph of any of these places? Email it to newsdesk@windsortoday.co.uk and we will add it with your name as the credit.
