Legoland at Christmas opens 21 November and runs on 22 selected days to 2 January, 10am to 5pm. Tickets from £34 online, £68 on the gate; Santa from £27.50.

Legoland Windsor’s Christmas season, LEGOLAND at Christmas, opens on Saturday 21 November 2026 and runs on selected days until Saturday 2 January 2027. The park is open 10am to 5pm on each of those days, and tickets start at £34 a person when booked online in advance.

Updated 20 October: Legoland’s Christmas event page now says “selected dates from 21 November to 3 January 2027”, but its opening-hours calendar, rechecked today, still ends on Saturday 2 January and shows no opening on Sunday 3 January. Check the calendar before planning a visit on the 3rd.

The quick answer

  • Is it on this year? Yes. Legoland lists it for selected dates from 21 November to 2 January 2027.
  • Open days: 22 in all, every one 10am to 5pm. Most weekdays before 14 December are closed, and so are 24, 25 and 26 December. The full list is below.
  • Tickets: from £34 online in advance; the walk-up price is £68.
  • Meeting Father Christmas costs extra: from £27.50 a child, and it does not include park entry.
  • Parking: from £13 online, £15 on the day; Priority Parking £18.

Which days is Legoland open at Christmas?

These are the days the resort’s own opening-hours calendar shows as open, read on 13 October 2026. Any date not listed is shown as closed (LEGOLAND Windsor, opening hours).

Month Open days (all 10am to 5pm)
November Saturday 21; Saturday 28 and Sunday 29
December, before Christmas Saturday 5 and Sunday 6; Saturday 12 to Monday 14; Thursday 17 to Wednesday 23
Christmas Closed Thursday 24 to Saturday 26
After Christmas Sunday 27 December to Saturday 2 January, every day

Two traps in the calendar. Sunday 22 November, the day after the opening, is shown as closed. And the park opens on Monday 14 December but not on the Tuesday or Wednesday after it.

The resort is open on the two weekends before the season begins (7 and 8 November, 10am to 5pm), but Legoland’s Christmas page dates the festive programme from 21 November.

What is on at Christmas

Legoland’s Christmas page lists these as included in the ticket (LEGOLAND Windsor, LEGOLAND at Christmas):

  • Festive Opening Show with Elf Frode and the LEGOLAND Brass Band, as you arrive.
  • Elf Training Academy Show, where children learn to build, sing and move like an elf.
  • Festival of Flurries Show, a sing-along with Snowman.
  • Nutcracker’s Marching Band, the brass band’s Christmas cavalcade.
  • Meet LEGO Santa at his home in the park.
  • Build to Give: build a LEGO heart, and for every heart shared a LEGO set is donated.
  • Twinkly lights and a giant DUPLO Christmas tree.
  • Over 20 rides and attractions. Legoland’s list for the season includes The Dragon, LEGO NINJAGO The Ride, LEGO City Deep Sea Adventure, the Driving School, DUPLO Dino Coaster, Laser Raiders, Flight of the Sky Lion and the Hill Train. Not every ride in the park runs in winter.

Tickets and prices

Ticket Price
LEGOLAND at Christmas, theme park only, booked online from £34 a person
Walk-up price on the gate £68 a person
Father Christmas Visit upgrade from £27.50 a child (entry not included)
Father Christmas Visit, Merlin Gold or Platinum Annual Pass holders from £22 a child
Festive Sleepovers (overnight stay and breakfast) from £85 a person, based on a family of four in a Woodland Village lodge

The Father Christmas visit is in a grotto in the park’s Christmas Kingdom, and every child gets a LEGO gift. It must be booked as well as a park ticket (LEGOLAND Windsor). Legoland says the resort gets busy at Christmas and recommends booking in advance.

Prices are Legoland’s “from” prices: the cheapest dates and online booking. Busier dates cost more, so check the price for your day before you plan around £34.

Parking and getting there

Legoland is on Winkfield Road (B3022), about two miles from Windsor town centre, postcode SL4 4AY. Legoland says to follow the brown tourist signs rather than a sat nav, which can send drivers into a residential street (LEGOLAND Windsor, directions).

  • General Parking: from £13 booked online, £15 on the day, opposite the main entrance.
  • Priority Parking: £18, next to the main entrance, last admission 12pm; the only car park with EV charging for day visitors.
  • Free for Gold and Platinum Merlin Annual Pass holders and on-site hotel guests.
  • Number plate recognition opens the barrier if your registration is on your booking (LEGOLAND Windsor, parking).

Legoland asks visitors not to park on nearby roads. On the way home it advises turning right at the Legoland roundabout for the M25, M3 and M4, which keeps you out of Windsor’s traffic.

By train and bus: both Windsor stations (Windsor & Eton Central from Slough, and Windsor & Eton Riverside from Waterloo) have a chargeable shuttle bus to the park, which Legoland does not run. Legoland also lists the Green Line 702 and 703 buses, which run through Windsor and Slough. Check our Christmas trains page before travelling: Paddington is closed on some dates over Christmas. Windsor’s own car parks and the park and ride are on our parking in Windsor page, and road closures are on roadworks and travel.

Other Christmas days out near Windsor

Windsor Great Park Illuminated runs from 13 November (our page), Windsor on Ice opens the same day in Alexandra Gardens, and the town’s other Father Christmas visits are on our Santa’s grotto page. The Theatre Royal pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, opens on 20 November (pantomime page).

Still to be confirmed

Legoland has not published a day-by-day show schedule for the season. Ticket prices for individual dates are only shown at booking. We will check the calendar again in mid-November in case any days are added or dropped.
